How to Clean Linear Guide Rail?

Guide rail, straight axis as one of the core components of the equipment, it’s function is to guide and support. In order to ensure that the machine has a higher processing accuracy, it is required that the guide rail and straight line have a higher guiding accuracy and good movement stability.

During the operation of the equipment,Because the work piece will produce a lot of corrosive dust and smoke in the process, and these smoke and dust will be deposited on the surface of the guide rail and linear axis for a long time, which has a great impact on the processing accuracy of the equipment, and will form corrosion spots on the surface of the guide linear axis, shortening the service life of the equipment.

Note: Clean guide rail please prepare - dry cotton cloth, lubricating oil. Engraving machine guide rail is divided into linear guide rail, roller guide. 

Cleaning of linear guide, first move the laser head to the right (or left), find the linear guide, wipe it with dry cotton cloth until it is bright and dutless, add a little oil (Sewing machine oil can be used, do not use motor oil), and slowly push the laser head around several times, so that the lubricating oil can be evenly distributed.

Roller guide rail cleaning,move the beam to the inside, open the machine on both sides of the end cover, find the rail pliers, with dry cotton cloth on both sides of the guide rail and roller contact place wipe clean, then move the beam, clean the rest of the place.
